TRIPLE THREAT: DOUBLE'S "THIRD" RIDER
 A lot of people are referring to him as Kamen Rider Accel. Which is sort of annoying, seeing as how Accel is the exact name of one of Kamen Rider Faiz's different forms. But seeing as how it is rumored that he has the ability to transform into a bike, I would have thought "Kamen Rider Axle" would be a more appropriate name. In any case, we can look forward to his appearance in the series as the proper second Rider of the show. As opposed to the previously revealed Kamen Rider Skull, who is set to debut in the upcoming movie. Now... We haven't seen either of these new Riders in action yet, but I have to say I find myself a lot less excited about Accel/Axle than I am for Skull. Maybe I'm just wierd, but the whole "transforming into a vehicle" thing just doesn't do it for me as a special power. Aside from all the bad flashbacks to the Final Form Rides I suffered through wtih "Kamen Rider Decade," it just generally doesn't interest me. Then again, I've seen a lot more of Skull, and it's still pretty early, so... take that for what it's worth. |

Plugging Away
* * * Starting weight: 360 Current weight: 256 Next mini-goal/Final goal: 237/150 Swimming since 11/2: 4 miles * * * I started swimming last week and definitely feel it's going to make a big difference with my progress. I'd stalled around 260 for a while but began to drop again with the exercise. The current plan is that I swim a mile's worth of laps on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and take an aqua fitness class on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The class is definitely a much bigger workout than the mile, but is still very enjoyable and should give me a better variety than what I initially planned on. I'm still not fond of my current suit but should be able to work something out with the next paycheck or so. The schedule of the classes works out great now that the TOPS meetings have been moved from Thursdays to Wednesdays. I think I've been doing ok food-wise. I mean, I must being doing well if I find myself wondering if I'm getting too many calories from fruit, of all things. I'm less bored with what I've been eating lately, hopefully that won't be an issue for a while. As long as I can keep having French toast for breakfast, I should be good. |

Fanart - TFA Jolt
 Over on my Twitter account for TFA Beachcomber, he tends to mention his buddy Jolt a lot. I originally drew Jolt to be a huge, semi-chubby guy based on the Armada Jolt (but blue like the ROTF one)... HOWEVER, after I got ROTF Jolt and read his toy bio, I was inspired to base TFA Jolt off of him. Where he's a goofy guy who uses this personality as a false sense of security on his enemies, then strikes. Wonder if BC knows...? I like how my design turned out. He has Capri pants and is totally sporting some Kingdom Hearts-level footwear. The darker pieces of the panels on his forearms rotate forward and open up to reveal his electro-whips. No Flash vectors this time. Just a straightforward colored sketch. :) Enjoy! |

no news / today
I awoke rather early in the morning and watched two episodes of Bleach (downloaded.. they were alright.. I guess..), Naruto Shippuden (ep 5.. coool), Family Guy (lol) and Cleveland Show (think I fell asleep for a part of this one.. but that's okay because this one ain't that great anyway). I fell asleep for a bit, then got online. And after some morning TV, I watched Titan Maximum (haha.. lol, megamum) and Bored To Death (season finale.. aw) before checking out PlayStation Home for a little while. I mainly got the new ("free") DJ kit and set it up at my log cabin. Hehe. My dad returned home from dialysis and we watched some Ellen.. but then I returned to PlayStation Home for a little while longer. But then I watched four more episodes of Star Wars The Clone Wars: Season 1 (awesome, love the overabundance of multi-parters in this show :p) and another Mercy (very good). We had some supper, then I got online to news-gather.. In primetime, we watched How I Met Your Mother (lol, especially that car scene), Accidentally On Purpose (haha), Two & A Half Men (lol), Big Bang Theory (lol) and CSI Miami (cool). La Cage - for the win!!!
We saw La Cage 3 times this last week and met some lovely people outside - not just John, either!! Grace, Gabby, Julie and Iris were very nice. We met one girl who had seen John dozens of times (I didn't get her name but she is young and has brown hair and was wearing a red coat) and I was just wondering who has seen La Cage the most? There were people we talked with that had seen it 10-15 times. Anyone more than 15? I loved seeing it the 3 times. We did 2 from the cabaret tables and one from Row M. No matter where you sit, John was fantastic - so was Simon and the beautiful boy dancers!!! Yum. |
